Experience Designer

Job Description:

    We are seeking a passionate and senior Experience Designer to enhance our team. This role requires a strategic designer with extensive knowledge of the entire design process. You will lead initiatives that shape goals and define the scope of problems for both the business and the customer, quickly sketching concepts that strengthen our design capabilities and contribute to creating seamless user experiences for our clients. In this position, you will work closely with product management within a SAFe train, identifying and mapping design needs for resource planning. Your expertise will guide multiple initiatives, ensuring we remain customer-centric by identifying customer journeys and effect maps, formalizing the intended outcomes of our initiatives, and articulating the problem statements that define both customer and business value. As part of the CXM Channel Development team, you will collaborate with various departments, requiring strategic navigation across roles and areas. Your experience will be instrumental in fostering a design-centric culture within Skandia, ensuring user-centered design is at the core of all our operations.

As an Experience Designer, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities aimed at enhancing user experiences and driving strategic design initiatives.:

    Lead goal-setting workshops to define project scope and problem-solving strategies during the product discovery phase.;; Analyze business needs and integrate them with user needs to create effective design solutions.;; Employ a systems-thinking approach to maintain a holistic view of long-term solutions within a complex organization.;; Rapidly produce concept sketches and design drafts using tools like Figma to visualize requirements and support development teams during implementation.;; Contribute to a customer-centric work culture by promoting design thinking methodologies throughout the organization.;; Identify improvement opportunities in the design process to deliver enhanced customer value.;; Educate and mentor other designers on user-centered methodologies and best practices.;; Collaborate with various roles and departments to ensure alignment towards common objectives.;; Facilitate workshops and advocate for customer-centric strategies across all levels of the organization.
