Job Description:

Join our dynamic Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision (AICV) group at our research and development center in Darmstadt, where we focus on cutting-edge applied research and technology transfer into innovative products. You will be at the forefront of advancing new technologies in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Large Language Models. As a Lead/Senior Scientist, you will contribute your expertise within an interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with domain experts to design and implement groundbreaking AI solutions. Your role will involve investigating and developing innovative algorithms to extract valuable insights from diverse application areas. You will also have the opportunity to mentor graduate students and coordinate their work with research teams. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a strong foundation in machine learning and a keen interest in adapting state-of-the-art AI and Natural Language Understanding algorithms for high-performance applications. You should be dedicated to ethical AI practices and eager to impact the industry through actual projects.

As a Lead/Senior Scientist, you will drive the research and development of new AI, Machine Learning, and NLP algorithms and products, ensuring successful integration into our product ecosystem.:

Conduct applied research and collaborate with peers, teams, external partners, and customers to establish a solid technological foundation.;; Oversee project results in alignment with overall project plans, ensuring seamless integration into existing products.;; Mentor and guide graduate students, fostering their development and integrating their contributions into ongoing projects.
