Cyber Security Analyst

Job Description:

In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing and expanding the IT security framework, coordinating the implementation of security measures, and responding to both organizational and technical IT security incidents. You will also support the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of use cases within the SIEM/SOC environment, regularly reporting on the status of the IT security framework, and serving as the primary contact for business units on security matters.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be entrusted with various critical responsibilities that encompass both strategic and operational elements of IT security.:

    Continuously improve and expand the IT security framework.;; Coordinate and oversee the implementation of IT security measures.;; Address organizational and technical IT security incidents as they arise.;; Support the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of use cases in the SIEM/SOC context.;; Regularly report on the status and effectiveness of the IT security framework.;; Act as the main point of contact for business units regarding IT security issues.

Qualifications:

  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position within the IT security field.
  • Familiarity with common security standards and practices; certifications such as CISM or CISA are advantageous.
  • Experience with BAIT, MaRisk implementations, and associated policies and processes.
  • A solution-oriented approach to work and initial project experience.
  • A strong customer and goal orientation, high team spirit, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written German and English.
