Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Security Architect to join our team in Berlin for an initial rolling contract of three months. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance across our data, operations, and infrastructure. You will play a vital role in maintaining the security of our enterprise architecture, addressing specific challenges faced within the energy sector. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating, implementing, and enforcing a comprehensive security roadmap aligned with NIS2 and KRITIS frameworks. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing a Zero Trust Architecture to enhance our security posture and ensure our organization meets industry standards and regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of security governance at both the organizational and enterprise levels, and familiarity with Agile project management is essential. You will be required to be onsite in Berlin for one week out of every four, with an expenses budget provided to support your travel.

As an Enterprise Security Architect, you will be responsible for several key tasks that are essential for maintaining the security and compliance of our organization.:

Develop and implement a comprehensive security roadmap that aligns with industry standards and regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and KRITIS., Design and deploy a Zero Trust Architecture to enhance security across all enterprise operations., Conduct regular assessments of security protocols and governance practices to ensure compliance and efficiency., Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security challenges specific to the energy sector., Provide guidance and support to the IT department on matters related to security architecture., Review and update security policies and procedures to adapt to new threats and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Security Architect or similar role

• Excellent understanding of compliance requirements in the energy sector
• Experience in implementing Zero Trust Architecture
• Strong project management skills in Agile environments
• Fluency in English
