Information Security Analyst

Job Description:

    We are on the lookout for an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our vibrant team located in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Area. This is a hybrid position, requiring you to be in the office three days a week, with occasional travel to other sites within Germany, estimated at around twenty percent. In this role, you will take charge of implementing, managing, and maintaining robust security processes and policies that are crucial for safeguarding our organization against cyber threats. You will closely collaborate with global teams, providing your expertise across various disciplines in information security, while ensuring compliance with pertinent frameworks and regulations. You will play a key role in protecting sensitive data and enhancing the overall security posture of our organization.

As an Information Security Analyst, you will have a wide array of responsibilities that are essential for maintaining and enhancing our organization's security framework.:

    Develop, implement, and oversee information security policies, standards, and procedures.;; Provide expert insights into Application and Infrastructure Security, Identity and Access Management, and Governance for both Business and Technology sectors.;; Lead and coordinate virtual teams of skilled professionals globally to drive various security initiatives and projects.;; Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including GDPR and ENISA guidelines.;; Conduct thorough risk assessments and contribute to the Information Security Risk Management process to identify and address potential security threats.;; Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures effectively into software and hardware deployments.;; Stay informed about the latest security trends, frameworks, guidelines, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, ISSMP, CISM, with additional certifications like CEH, CISA, or CRISC being highly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with information security principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Proven track record of implementing information security principles in both business and IT processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of German data security standards and EU regulations.
  • Professional fluency in both German and English.
