Job Description:

Our Grocery Logistics team provides customers with an incredible delivery experience from the moment they click 'buy' to the moment their grocery products arrive. The team oversees all our Fresh deliveries across multiple regions, working to deliver products faster, more efficiently, and in a way that exceeds customer expectations. We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to help organize and extract meaning from large volumes of data to make the right business decisions regarding growth, new initiatives, and improvement projects. As a BIE, you will be expected to set the right vision, strategy, and roadmap while collaborating with stakeholders in the organization to make it happen. You will work with business intelligence tools, model multidimensional datasets, and partner with operational leaders to answer key operational questions.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks::

    Collaborate with Program Managers to develop global solutions in the form of automated reports, dashboards, or tools., Address operational questions based on data and models for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews., Automate analysis through SQL and scripting languages, delivering outputs to internal customers in user-friendly formats., Define parameters and success criteria for live tests to validate or invalidate hypotheses in models., Design, implement, and support platforms that provide ad-hoc access to large datasets., Work with support teams to scale projects, enhance methodologies, and utilize resources efficiently., Engage in opportunities to upskill and work on exploratory projects involving AWS services., Explore the application of machine learning techniques to modeling., Network and be influential within the analyst community.

Skillset:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
