Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy comprehensive business intelligence solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft/Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Spark, and Power BI, Translate user stories into technical specifications for implementation in a Lakehouse/Warehouse architecture, Craft and optimize SQL queries, Python Notebooks, stored procedures, and ETL processes to extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources, Prioritize technical user stories within the sprint backlog as part of the BI development process, Create and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI or equivalent reporting tools, Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, optimize queries, and ensure data accuracy and integrity, Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data analytics, Participate in an onboarding process to familiarize yourself with colleagues, products, and company culture

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science
• Information Systems
• or a related field
• Proven experience as a BI Engineer
• Software Developer
• or a similar role
• with strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric
• Synapse Data Warehouse
• Microsoft SQL Server
• and the Microsoft BI Stack
• Solid grasp of various Data Warehouse models
• Lakehouse architecture
• and ETL/ELT design methodologies
• Experience in designing and developing ETL processes using Python
• SSIS
• SQL
• Spark Framework
• Azure Data Factory
• or Databricks
• Experience in testing and executing test cases for BI development throughout the BI Product Development Life Cycle
• Familiarity with multidimensional and tabular data models using SSAS or Power BI Tabular Models
• Proficient in creating interactive/self-service reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
