As a Lead Data Platform Engineer, you will oversee and enhance our data platform infrastructure while leading a team of engineers.:
- Provide mentorship and leadership to the Data Platform Engineering team, encouraging professional development and a culture of continual improvement, Design, implement, and upgrade a resilient data platform utilizing AWS, focusing on the integration of various technologies for scalability, cost-effectiveness, and innovation, Collaborate across teams, including data science, analytics, and product management, to ensure that platform capabilities meet business objectives, Identify and resolve performance issues within the platform, deploying automated solutions to enhance efficiency, Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform architecture, workflows, and best practices

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
- Information Technology
- or a related discipline
- Over ten years of experience in software engineering
- including a minimum of three years in a leadership or senior technical role
- Extensive experience in designing and developing scalable systems such as microservices and APIs using programming languages like Python and Rust
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases along with data processing frameworks like Spark
- Experience with major cloud service providers such as AWS
- Azure
- or GCP and familiarity with infrastructure management tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of advanced data tools and frameworks including Databricks
- Snowflake
- Airflow
- and Airbyte
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- capable of effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
