As a Data Engineer, you'll be an integral part of the agile data infrastructure team within Data & Analytics, focusing on the data platform and the organization-wide data provision.     Oversee the development and enhancement of the data platform, including Snowflake, Confluent Kafka, and Databricks, as well as architecture and data flows between components, Engage in the development of a Data Mesh architecture, Continuously automate and optimize technical processes to ensure efficiency and scalability in ELT/ETL pipelines and data platform management, Establish data protection-compliant end-to-end processes, from connecting data sources to creating process monitoring, Implement best practices in data and software engineering and support the organization's data teams, Enhance process stability and data quality

Qualifications:

  • A completed degree in computer science
  • natural sciences

  • and messaging/streaming technologies. Experience with Snowflake
  • Databricks
  • and Confluent Kafka is a plus
  • Proficient in software development using Python
  • Familiar with CI/CD practices
  • DevOps culture
  • and Infrastructure as Code
  • particularly Terraform
  • Ideally experienced with the AWS cloud environment
  • Fluent in both German and English
