We are a young, diverse, and expanding team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers. The team is built to support all business units on their way to digitization. We believe in the importance of cloud and software engineering in Data Science. As a team, we develop machine learning solutions based on structured and unstructured data, mainly using Python and deploying our solutions to Microsoft Azure cloud. We rely on open-source code standards and master our tools.:

Qualifications:

• An excellent university degree in natural science
• mathematics
• computer science
• engineering or similar. PhD is a plus.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a Data Science role or 4 years of PhD/research experience plus 2 years of professional experience in a Data Science role.
• A deep understanding of applied mathematics
• machine learning and their underlying concepts and algorithms.
• An active interest in current machine learning developments
• both academic and applied.
• Experience with best practices in model development and deployment using cloud services
• preferably Azure.
• A background in software development
• proficient in Python
• git
• and Azure DevOps
• with familiarity in agile methods.
• The ability to understand customer needs
• solve real-world problems
• and present results effectively.
• Pronounced results orientation and strong strategic and conceptual skills.
• Fluent in English and advanced in German.
