Node.js Software Developers Required

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our IT team, which is responsible for maintaining and evolving our modern, service-based software stack that supports high-traffic and well-known websites. We are also constantly launching new products. Your Responsibilities:

• Further development of our service stack and services based on Node.js and TypeScript
• Development of new services using similar technologies
• Conceptualizing new solutions in collaboration with other developers and stakeholders from UX/UI teams or our editorial teams
• Researching new techniques, integrating new services, or solving new problems

Your Profile:

• Several years of professional experience as a Node.js developer
• Desire to work as part of a team in an agile environment
• Preference for a work environment with: MonoRepo, Conventional Commits, CI/CD (via GitLab Pipelines), Event Bus, Review Apps, Infrastructure as Code (via Amazon CDK in TypeScript), JSON-Schema based data approach (storage, validation), Kubernetes, Service Architecture, High-Performance Services, JSON Web Tokens, ElasticSearch, Swagger/OpenApi, E2E Tests
• Love for clean code and a desire for continuous development
• View code reviews as an opportunity to improve and help others
• Address errors and help prevent their recurrence
• Understand Collective Code Ownership as a significant advantage and love creating great things together
• Enjoy participating in technical discussions to develop good solutions collectively
• Very good English and good German skills
