DevOps Engineer
Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS to enhance the scalability and reliability of our applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming our current infrastructure, which relies on EC2 instances with Auto Scaling Groups, by transitioning our application into a containerized environment using EKS or other AWS services like ECS or Lambda. The role will also involve establishing a comprehensive monitoring system to ensure effective service capacity planning. You will play a critical role in modernizing our deployment approach to enable automatic rollbacks and minimize downtime during production deployments. Additionally, you will work on upgrading our CI/CD pipeline to leverage AWS's robust CI/CD tools, ensuring a reliable and efficient deployment process.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the transformation of our application infrastructure, ensuring it meets modern standards for scalability and reliability.:
- Analyze the current infrastructure and propose necessary modifications;; Document best practices for application deployment and infrastructure management;; Facilitate the migration to a highly available and scalable infrastructure with zero downtime;; Implement a robust monitoring stack for performance and capacity planning;; Develop strategies for effective service capacity planning;; Construct a reliable CI/CD pipeline utilizing AWS tools;; Write infrastructure as code using Cloud Formation or similar technologies

- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack
- Experience in designing large-scale distributed systems
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Cloud Formation or Terraform
- Experience with serverless technologies, particularly AWS Lambda, is a plus
