Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic Search Ads team in San Jose, California. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in reshaping how we monetize search engines across various platforms, including TikTok and BuzzVideo. You will be involved in solving complex challenges related to large-scale distributed systems and architecture, as well as engaging in exciting Natural Language Processing (NLP) and ranking problems. Your contributions will be vital to the development of our Search Ads product from its inception. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and lead innovative solutions in the advertising landscape.

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are critical to the success of our Ads system.:

Contribute to the design and development of large-scale advertising systems.;; Optimize relevance models, including semantic matching and active learning techniques.;; Integrate multi-modal data such as text, photo, and video into ranking strategies.;; Participate in the iterative development of advanced Ads algorithms using machine learning techniques.;; Enhance Natural Language Processing capabilities and improve query understanding.;; Work on query classification, sequence-to-sequence models, and Named Entity Recognition.;; Research and implement Ads pacing algorithms and traffic control mechanisms.;; Collaborate with product managers and teams to define product strategies and features.
