Job Description:

Are you interested in the position of Agile Tester / Software Test Engineer? This role requires a dedicated individual who will be a key member of an agile development team focused on quality assurance and the testing process in digital innovation projects. As an Agile Tester, you will collaborate closely with clients, developers, and team members to build and operate automated test frameworks. You will create test scripts using automation tools, conduct various types of tests, and assist the team in troubleshooting errors. A solid understanding of automation and testing tools, as well as familiarity with agile software development methodologies, is essential for success in this role. This position is available only for applicants based in Germany.

As an Agile Tester / Software Test Engineer, you will be immersed in the dynamic environment of agile teams, whether in Scrum or other agile settings, both internally and with external clients. Your primary responsibilities will include participating in innovative digitalization projects, contributing to the development and administration of automated test frameworks, and creating corresponding test scripts using appropriate automation tools.:

Actively participate in the implementation and development of automated test frameworks., Execute automated test cases and carry out functional tests, specialist tests, and/or end-to-end tests., Integrate testing processes into the CI/CD pipeline., Document testing results accurately and comprehensively, presenting findings within your team., Assist developers, business analysts, and product owners in troubleshooting and error analysis.

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed training as an IT specialist in application development or a degree in computer science

• Cypress
• SoapUI
• Sikuli
• and/or UFT.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (Jenkins) and Continuous Delivery with Docker.
• Familiarity with agile software development methods such as Scrum and Test Driven Development.
• Experience applying quality standards in both classical and agile contexts.
• Certifications in DevOps
• Certified Agile Tester
• and/or Scrum are advantageous.
• Experience as a software developer with technologies like Angular
• JAVA EE
• and/or Spring is a plus.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification is desirable
• but can be pursued after hiring.
