Software Test Engineer II

Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer II who will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies and verification plans. This position requires the development of detailed test procedures and the documentation of test results. You will be involved in writing discrepancy reports and preparing detailed test reports that effectively communicate findings to various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will utilize an automation framework to streamline the testing processes and will actively participate in test reviews to identify issues and provide actionable recommendations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial as you will be interfacing with team members, management, and clients at all levels.

As a Software Test Engineer II, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that include conducting unit, integration, regression, and system testing, as well as capacity and performance testing. You will document any defects by capturing reproduction steps and gathering debugging information. Your role will involve the design, implementation, debugging, and execution of software tests, and you will also review test plans and designs in collaboration with development engineers.:

    Implement and maintain a test automation framework using various scripting languages and tools.;; Collect data to generate metrics that assess test progress and software quality.;; Support the development, integration, and execution of quantitative metrics for test pass/fail results.;; Investigate and evaluate new test technologies and tools as appropriate.
