As an Assistant Breeder, you will manage selection processes and contribute to product development through data analysis and collaboration.:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of phenotypic and genomic datasets using statistical software such as R and SAS to ensure accurate results., Assist in making selection decisions within the breeding program., Enhance decision-making by processing and synthesizing data from various functional units., Establish selection criteria based on an understanding of germplasm and associated traits., Improve selection procedures by integrating genetic factors, germplasm knowledge, and logistical considerations to optimize elite genetics yield., Promote scientific collaboration with external breeding research partners., Plan, implement, and manage breeding-related research projects.
