Our Commercial Technology team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!:

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial trading partners and IT delivery teams to ensure alignment of IT projects with business objectives, Act as the primary point of contact for the Short Term Trading, Dispatch, and Power Delivery Management desks and IT departments in all matters related to technology, Maintain a close relationship with the central program management team, Develop a change roadmap including business prioritization, Steer both IT delivery and cross-functional delivery teams, Support the evolution of the Short Term Trading and Dispatch landscape to align with new green and flexible power strategies, Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget, Manage a multi-year transformation program, including a multi-million EUR budget, ensuring efficient delivery and tracking of resources, Make trade-off decisions to balance product quality, cost, and delivery timelines, Manage business demand and identify synergies in delivery approaches across UK and continental teams for a cohesive approach, Lead cross-functional teams across diverse geographical locations, fostering a collaborative environment, Implement best practices in project management and continuous improvement initiatives, Establish quality standards for business requirements, processes, to-be designs, and business functional test management, Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies, Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration
  • Information Technology
  • or a related field
  • Minimum five to ten years of proven experience in program management within the energy sector
  • Extensive understanding of power markets
  • particularly concerning day ahead
  • intraday
  • and scheduling and dispatching processes in continental markets
  • Strong understanding of the trade and operational lifecycle of power assets through complex IT landscapes including technical requirements and processes
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multi-locational teams
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with a focus on senior to board of management
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • PMP
  • Prince2
  • or equivalent certification is highly desirable
