Job Description:
- Join our dynamic and multicultural Contracts and Procurement Department within the Directorate of Administration. We are responsible for executing the procurement process in accordance with the Organisation's policies for awarding contracts for supplies and services. Our team consists of 18 talented individuals, with 9 based in Garching.

Main Duties and Responsibilities::
- Review and discuss purchase requests with stakeholders to ensure adequacy and completeness, and determine the appropriate procurement strategy., Identify suppliers capable of providing the requested goods and services., Prepare tender documentation, including contract terms, and coordinate the procurement process through evaluation, negotiation, and contract awarding., Act as a procurement representative in project teams., Prepare necessary documentation for the Organisation's governing bodies regarding procurements., Participate in the follow-up of orders/contracts, providing expert guidance and support on commercial and contractual matters as needed., Contribute to the development of procurement procedures and practices within the Organisation.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience in a procurement role with similar responsibilities
- including at least three years in public procurement.

- Strong sense of when to escalate issues to higher management.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Experience with ERP systems such as MS NAV
- SAP
- or Oracle.
- Organized and meticulous work style.
- Ability to work independently after initial training while fostering a positive team environment.
