Key responsibilities include designing and developing power electronic modules and systems.:

Designing circuits for power electronic modules, including mixed-signal circuits., Developing power electronics modules, including motor drives and switching power supplies., Taking ownership of system simulations using Matlab/Simulink to validate control algorithms for power electronic modules., Supporting PCB layout processes., Testing and characterizing electronic circuits under high ambient temperatures., Developing test systems including both hardware and software components., Managing the qualification of electronic components for high temperature applications., Documenting and presenting development results during design reviews to achieve milestones in the technology development process.

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed studies in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power electronics.
• Practical experience in circuit and system design of power electronics

• Experience and knowledge in power electronics topologies
• specifically various voltage converters and control systems for electrical machines.
• Familiarity with new technologies in power electronic components
• such as wide band-gap devices (GaN or SiC).
• Knowledge in measurement and control engineering
• including hardware in the loop testing.
• Experience with contemporary electronic laboratory equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate within an international team.
