As an Engineer in our Solar Engineering Department, you will provide engineering solutions for photovoltaic projects throughout their entire design life-cycle, from concept through to as-built documentation. Our team comprises experienced senior engineers and eager juniors, all working together in a collaborative and friendly environment, united by a passion for designing high-quality solar projects. We are looking to expand our team with talented individuals like you.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing solar projects and ensuring technical compliance.:

Design utility-scale solar projects at both preliminary and detailed levels using industry-standard software, Define technical parameters and specifications for key components, ensuring compliance with industry codes, Review technical drawings created by the design team and external providers, Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Assist in the preparation of post-construction documentation, Provide expertise during project implementation, both remotely and on-site

Spoken Languages:

• English, German, French

Skillset:

• Proficient in solar design software
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in electrical engineering
• Several years of professional experience in the photovoltaic industry in a relevant role
• Expertise in design software such as PVSyst
• AutoCad
• PVcase
• CYMCAP
• etc.
• Experience in sizing and selecting electrical components (cables
• transformers
• etc.) is an advantage
• Fluency in English; German and additional languages are a plus
• Experience in solar construction processes (as a site manager or technical auditor) is an asset
