We seek a tech-enthusiastic student to join the AI & Digital Twin group of Advanced Development to help shape proof-of-concept demonstrators for next-generation healthcare product features. As a member of our team, you will leverage your AI, digital twin, and computer vision skills to tackle real-world challenges. During your internship, you will::
- Work on potential AI and/or digital twin features for future medical devices, Design and train neural networks for computer vision applications, Evaluate and refine your approach using real-world data, Build proof-of-principle demonstrators and test your solutions with product management and clinical partners, Collaborate closely within an interdisciplinary team of AI and Digital Twin experts and application specialists, Engage in a vibrant student community

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in computer science
- electrical engineering
- computer engineering
- biomedical engineering or a related field
- Previous experience with AI/ML methods and frameworks
- particularly in medical image processing
- Proficient in one or more general-purpose programming languages
- particularly Python
- Excited to apply your technology skills and curiosity to develop algorithms and proof-of-concept demonstrators that address real surgical needs
