The Digital Content Platforms department is responsible for the implementation of central IT platforms for digital content, focusing on digital media, marketing, and language technologies. The focus is on comprehensive application management for all divisions and their customers, partners, and agencies. As an IT Application Engineer, you will be the technical contact person with global responsibility for applications focused on Content Creation and planning.:

Ensure the further development, operation, administration, maintenance, and updating of our application environment and web servers as well as databases on premise and in the cloud, Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the applications for which you are responsible, Actively support the digitalization and standardization of internal processes and projects, responsible for training global segments, Work closely with users and internal and external stakeholders to find optimal solutions

• Ability to create new solution patterns or combine known solution patterns

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science
• business informatics
• industrial engineering or IT business administration or comparable relevant IT training
• Experience in the areas of content management
• planning and road mapping tools as well as content collaboration and real-time content distribution platforms
• Good knowledge in the configuration and maintenance of web servers and databases
• preferably MS SQL and Oracle
• In-depth knowledge of application management of common SaaS applications and web technologies as well as cloud platforms
• Knowledge of service management processes according to ITIL
• Confidence in communicating at various hierarchical levels
• Business fluent English and good German skills are an advantage
