As a Lead Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for guiding the engineering team and ensuring the successful delivery of data solutions.:

Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to the Data Platform Engineering team, promoting professional development and a culture of continuous improvement, Platform & Cloud Architecture: Design, implement, and enhance a robust data platform leveraging AWS, focusing on scalability, cost-efficiency, and innovation, Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data science, analytics, and product teams to ensure the platform meets business requirements, Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve platform bottlenecks, implementing automated solutions to enhance performance, Comprehensive Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for platform architecture, processes, and best practices

Qualifications:

• and distributed systems using languages such as Python or Rust
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases and familiar with data processing frameworks like Spark
• Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS
• Azure
• or GCP and infrastructure management tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of advanced data tools and frameworks including Databricks
• Snowflake
• Airflow
• and Airbyte
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
