    Responsible for reliability systems engineering and technical risk management regarding complex designs and components in a highly innovative research and development environment., As a reliability expert / systems engineer, proactively drive projects to success by using suitable design-for-reliability approaches and concepts., Define and coordinate necessary activities with development teams and international suppliers to ensure reliability requirements are met., Manage diverse interfaces and minimize technical risk levels through excellent networking skills., Support interdisciplinary teams in root cause analyses for customer complaints or field incidents, assess reliability impact, and define mitigation measures.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent university degree in engineering or natural science
  • PhD preferred but not essential.
  • Several years of professional experience as a development or systems engineer in an international high-tech research and development environment.
  • In-depth methodological knowledge in reliability engineering
  • Six Sigma methods
  • FMEA
  • or statistical methods.
  • Experience in the physics of failure
  • including damage mechanisms or degradation effects.
  • Strong communicative and organized personality
  • enabling easy interaction across various interfaces and the ability to present results vividly.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
  • Enthusiasm for an interdisciplinary function with the freedom for personal initiative.
