We are currently seeking a Usability / Human Factors Engineer with an affinity for UX|UI Design. This position can be full or part-time. You will play a vital role in developing a platform for vagus nerve stimulation to treat chronic diseases. Our first product aims to effectively manage high blood pressure while ensuring safety and ease of use for caregivers.

As a Usability / Human Factors Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that medical devices meet user needs and regulatory standards.:
- Assess and validate complex medical device systems for safety and performance from a user's perspective., Create and test end-to-end experiences and interfaces for innovative digital products from early research until product launch., Develop multimodal cross-device screen flows, interactive prototypes, and implementation-ready interface designs under Human-Centered Design principles., Support the testing team in executing Verification and Validation testing., Plan, execute, and document formative and summative usability evaluations of user interfaces for both hardware and software., Create necessary usability documents for the approval of medical devices according to IEC 62366-1 or FDA HFE Guidance., Analyze study data and usability evaluations, recommending optimizations for medical device design while implementing usability-related risk analysis.

- Knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations for medical devices and experience with design control processes.
- Proficiency with tools such as Paper and Pen

- and other design software for creating and testing concepts.
- Experience in requirement management

- Fluency in written and spoken English and German.
