As a Software Tester, your pivotal role will involve designing, implementing, and executing automated tests using industry-standard testing tools. You will engage in all testing activities within your agile team, which includes pair testing during unit tests, exploratory tests, end-to-end tests, managing test environments, and handling test data. Additionally, you will integrate testing into the CI pipeline and contribute to error handling and risk-based estimations of testing efforts. Your input will be valuable in defining and executing the team’s testing strategy, establishing quality metrics, and continuously improving testing processes. You will also play a key role in creating new user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications.:

Qualifications:

• Experience in software testing within agile teams
• Knowledge of test automation architectures and patterns
• Proficiency in API testing
• Experience in non-functional testing such as performance, accessibility, security, and AI testing
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and test management tools like Qase
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification, with ISTQB CTFL Agile Tester Extension as an advantage
• Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Knowledge of databases and web services
• German language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
