Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Principal DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead exciting Azure-related projects. As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will provide user and application support, conduct error analysis, and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with developers within a DevOps model. You will be responsible for provisioning new components, configuring, documenting, updating, and removing components as part of our infrastructure-as-code toolchain. Your role will also involve validating infrastructure components during deployment to ensure alignment with the desired state. You will participate in sprint planning and relay discussions to plan, test, and deploy a secure container-based platform for hosting applications, while also assisting in the migration of existing applications and data. Effective management and monitoring of cloud resource utilization will be crucial, along with preparing strategies for cost optimization. You will collaborate closely with other support groups and the platform's service desk to enhance operational readiness through established processes.
