Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves deploying cloud-based enterprise applications into Kubernetes clusters across platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and other cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring production systems, managing critical incidents, and providing timely alert notifications for production issues. You will engage in debugging production issues by analyzing logs and metrics, and you will contribute to the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive knowledge base in the area of DevOps. Your familiarity with Linux administration, shell scripting languages, cloud infrastructure, log analysis tools, and observability platforms will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our services.

As a DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include deploying applications, monitoring systems, and facilitating incident management. You will also work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues and optimize system performance.:
Deploy cloud-based applications into Kubernetes clusters on GCP, AWS, or BTP;; Monitor production systems and respond to alerts for production issues;; Manage critical incidents including escalation, debugging, and root cause analysis;; Assist engineering teams in debugging by analyzing logs in Splunk and application logs;; Maintain knowledge base documentation in the area of DevOps;; Perform Linux administrative tasks and debugging techniques;; Utilize shell scripting languages such as Bash or Python;; Analyze logs using tools like Splunk or ELK;; Work with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Akamai;; Engage in Site Reliability Engineering operations and follow on-call procedures;; Utilize Kubernetes and Helm charts for application deployment and configuration;; Build and maintain Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration
