Job Description:
The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Governors seeks applications and nominations for the position of President, who will serve as the chief executive officer of the University. The ideal candidate will provide visionary leadership to advance the University’s mission as a comprehensive institution recognized for excellence in education, research, engagement, and creativity. The prospective President will oversee a diverse array of responsibilities, including managing academic operations, leading a NCAA Division I athletics program, and spearheading fundraising efforts. The President will also engage with faculty, staff, students, alumni, community members, and government leaders to mobilize resources and enhance the University’s profile. The role requires a commitment to collaborative and inclusive strategic planning, with a focus on creating a compelling vision for the University that aligns with the needs of stakeholders and emerging trends in higher education.
