Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Manager to join our team and take charge of the safeguarding of our information systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards in the realm of information security. You will play a crucial role in updating and maintaining the company's IT systems to meet security requirements. Your duties will include the implementation, accreditation, and continuous improvement of an Information Security Management System that adheres to recognized frameworks such as BSI Basic Protection and ISO 2700x. You will also oversee the protection of both operational and application software during testing phases, data backups, and recovery of IT systems. As part of your role, you will participate in the planning and procurement of communication and IT equipment, and help develop comprehensive security concepts. Additionally, you will manage incidents, document findings, and conduct forensic analysis of security breaches. Training and raising awareness among staff regarding information security and compliance will also be part of your responsibilities. Close collaboration with all departments is essential to create and refine processes and policies to safeguard our information assets.
