Job Description:

    Join a dynamic team as an Assistant Project Manager Intern in the Building Automation group. This part-time internship provides a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the principles of project management within a leading construction firm. The intern will gain hands-on experience by assisting seasoned project managers with various administrative tasks and learning essential project management methodologies. As part of your role, you will support project coordination efforts, work with project management systems, and help ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to on-site. You will also analyze construction documents, manage material logistics, and participate in project meetings, all while developing vital skills for a successful career in construction management.

The role involves multifaceted responsibilities that will enhance your understanding of project management.:

    Collaborate with project teams on planning and organizing construction projects;; Utilize Egan’s project management systems to track project progress;; Promote and uphold safety standards in accordance with company policies;; Analyze construction documents for clarity and consistency;; Manage and coordinate material purchases and logistics for projects;; Identify potential project issues and communicate with management;; Assist in the scheduling of key project meetings and document management;; Prepare and edit project correspondence including reports and change orders;; Support the management of day-to-day administrative tasks related to projects;; Participate in creating and updating as-built documents;; Attend project coordination meetings as required;; Build strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders
