As we continue our journey in the government contracting arena, we are looking for a skilled Mid-level Scrum Master to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the Department of Defense biosurveillance integration project by leveraging your agile project management expertise. You will guide cross-functional teams in effectively implementing agile methodologies to deliver robust technical solutions in a rapidly changing and iterative development environment. Your responsibilities will include facilitating sprint activities, managing scrum processes, and proactively resolving any obstacles that may hinder project success. Strong communication skills will be essential as you work to align multiple stakeholders towards achieving shared objectives.

As a Mid-level Scrum Master, you will be responsible for ensuring that agile processes are adhered to and continuously improved.:

Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to facilitate agile practices;; Work closely with product owners to document and refine requirements, prioritize the product backlog, and define user stories;; Ensure smooth communication and collaboration across various organizational teams;; Support in documenting project requirements and specifications while reviewing documentation from other teams;; Identify, document, and resolve impediments impacting the team’s ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time;; Synthesize requirements from feature requests and recommend alternative technical and business approaches;; Promote the adoption of agile methodologies and best practices within the team;; Track and report project progress using metrics for informed decision-making and project plan adaptations

Qualifications:

• Active DoD SECRET clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with seven to ten years of experience in agile project management or a Master’s degree with five years of experience
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Experience with Agile software development tools like Jira and Confluence
• Previous experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile project management role, particularly in defense or federal environments
