Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity within a supportive and innovative environment. In this role, you will assist in analyzing and securing information systems by applying your knowledge of cybersecurity principles and methodologies. Your contributions will be essential in supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for various projects, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards. This position is perfect for those looking to kick-start their career in cybersecurity while working closely with experienced professionals.

As a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall cybersecurity posture of our projects. You will work under the guidance of seasoned professionals to assess system vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and prepare necessary documentation for compliance.:
Assist with the analysis of projects based on DoD Cybersecurity policies;; Evaluate system vulnerabilities to identify security risks and propose mitigation strategies;; Ensure that appropriate security controls are implemented to protect digital assets and critical infrastructure;; Support the execution of RMF steps necessary for developing A&A packages in adherence to DoD requirements;; Develop and maintain RMF documentation throughout the system accreditation lifecycle;; Track and monitor Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for compliance;; Collaborate with Information System Security Engineers and System Administrators to ensure regulatory compliance;; Prepare detailed reports, status updates, and recommendations for various stakeholders
