Java Backend Developer - Hamburg

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, develop, deploy, and operate the application, ensuring it can handle the computational demands of AI integrations.
  • Define your pipelines and orchestrate your resources in the most efficient way.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code, taking end-to-end ownership of your solution from design to release.
  • Develop and maintain robust APIs that allow seamless integration and communication between the CRM system, AI models, and possibly other systems.
  • Participate actively in technical discussions and presentations with fellow engineers inside and outside your team.
  • Implement best practices in security and data protection.

Qualifications:

  • Several years of commercial programming experience in Java with hands-on experience with Spring Boot and cloud-based backend architectures.
  • Good knowledge of data structures, deep understanding of relational database design principles, and knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Ideally, experience with AI development frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with Git, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of creating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Experience in developing distributed systems with high demands on performance and reliability.
