For over sixty-five years, we have been developing customized product solutions in collaboration with our customers from our location near Hamburg. As an expanding and agile company with a highly motivated team, we are continuously growing and looking for new team members.

As a Flavourist, you will play a vital role in developing innovative taste solutions and co-creating signature products with clients.:

    Independently develop new flavour solutions as part of innovation and customer projects that meet technical and market-specific requirements., Collaborate with the application and development team to create successful product-integrated flavour solutions., Optimize and develop flavours using analytical and test data, including chromatographic evaluations., Conduct sensory evaluations and taste testing of end products with internal and external project participants., Adapt flavours to meet technological and regional market requirements or specific client requests., Support customer visits both domestically and internationally., Act as a technical expert for flavour selection in customer projects., Participate in creative workshops and product portfolio reviews to enhance our offerings., Support portfolio management of raw materials and participate in sensory panels to select new items., Collaborate with quality control in sensory evaluations and problem-solving regarding raw materials and flavours.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Chemistry
  • Food Science
  • Food Technology
  • or a related field.
  • At least five years of proven experience as a flavourist.
  • Exceptional sensory skills

  • and high creativity.
  • Experience in analyzing data from instrumental analytics
  • particularly GC and LC-MS.
  • Knowledge of food and flavor regulations.
  • International mindset and cosmopolitanism.
  • Self-motivated
  • organized
  • and a team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to make informed decisions in dynamic environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for productive interactions internally and externally.
  • Proficient in common MS Office applications.
  • Fluent in English.
