Job Overview

Top recruiter in medical systems is looking for a new Project Manager. You will be part of a team developing medical software and hardware for planning and performing surgical procedures.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible of coordinating and forward driving our newest development projects in the medical devices area. We are looking for proactive people, eager to learn and grow, bring their own ideas and make the difference.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Effectively manage R&D projects from product definition to project planning and execution until production and market introduction
  • Identify, establish and drive cooperation with international external partners on system, component and service level
  • Strongly align with internal services from quality assurance, purchasing, production, sales, support and  marketing
  • Identify future development & technology options in close collaboration with product management in order to develop a sustainable long-term product roadmap
  • Plan, prioritize and align R&D efforts within multi project environment
  • Specify and control R&D budget accordingly


The ideal candidate has:

  • Passion for innovative high-tech products and for technological advance
  • At least 4 years of professional experience (e.g. as Project Engineer or R&D Project manager/ team leader) in healthcare or medical device industry
  • University degree in mechanical engineering electrical/medical engineering, plastics technology or natural science
  • Ideally, profound understanding of the medical devices industry and passion for this technology area
  • Strong technical skills and ability to interact with hardware engineering staff on details
  • Experiences with the development of disposable / sterile  products in the medical field
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate R&D teams
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in German and English
