The Application Development Engineer aims to become a world leader in applications within their market segment, becoming the go-to expert for using related instruments to solve significant challenges in the semiconductor market.:

Establish a network and collaborate with application partners and key customers., Analyze market segments for application trends and emerging customer needs., Support MRD development by providing application-specific requirements., Challenge product development with segment-specific use cases and validate in beta tests., Develop sales knowledge about target applications and workflows., Create application proofs to support product positioning and develop segment-specific content for sales and marketing., Provide high-level sales support and strategic customer assistance., Train demo lab staff., Deliver validated reports on application trends., Create job-to-be-done descriptions and use cases for MRD and beta testing., Develop application content for sales training sessions and presentations., Share best demo practices across demo labs.

Qualifications:

• Provide expertise within the microscopy team to understand customer needs in the electronics sector.
• Analyze customer requirements and describe their job-to-be-done in the electronics industry.
• Contribute to application reports and identify relevant trends.
• Develop relationships with key customers.
• Generate content for internal training on new solutions
