Security Engineer Team Lead

Job Description:

    As a Security Engineer Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in our security initiatives, safeguarding our embedded systems and software. This important position involves hands-on development and integration of security features, as well as strategic management and coordination of security-related tasks within our team. Your mission is to lead our security projects, ensuring the protection of our control units and embedded systems. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and guide the team in implementing cutting-edge security solutions. We are looking for a proactive and experienced leader who can effectively bridge technical and managerial aspects of our security operations. Your expertise will elevate our security standards and ensure our products are at the forefront of security technologies.

In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of security experts while being directly involved in the development and integration of secure software for control units.:

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in cryptography and encryption
  • along with security oversight and familiarity with ISO24434 guidelines.
  • Experience in penetration testing and network protocols.
  • Knowledge of automotive security is preferred but not essential; experience in embedded software development and proficiency in C++ is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of security concepts and architectures.
  • In addition to leading the team and delegating tasks
  • you will be the primary contact for security-related topics.
  • Fluency in both English and German is required.
