The primary responsibilities of this role include the following::

Support the porting of C++-based telecommunications applications to cloud environments, focusing on performance optimization, reliability, and security., Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure to support applications and network integration., Containerize applications and implement efficient deployment strategies using Kubernetes and other CNCF tools., Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning., Collaborate closely with C++ developers to provide technical guidance on cloud migration, containerization, and DevOps best practices., Develop scripts and tools to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes clusters with in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and CNCF tools.
• Strong expertise in deploying and managing applications in public cloud environments such as GCP

• and private cloud solutions like OpenStack and VMWare.
• Solid experience in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of network protocols
• load balancing
• firewalls
• and VPNs.
• Expertise in implementing security best practices including encryption
• access control
• and vulnerability management.
• Proven track record in implementing CI/CD pipelines
• infrastructure as code
• and automation.
• Proficiency in Python programming for automation
• scripting
• and data analysis.
• Strong shell scripting skills for system administration and automation.
• Proficiency in IaC and Configuration Management technologies like Helm
• Ansible
• and Terraform.
• Experience with Go programming is a plus.
• Familiarity with C++ is desirable for supporting C++-based applications.
• Problem-solving skills to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaboration with development and operations teams.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest cloud and DevOps technologies.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
