The Senior Security Expert is responsible for the coordination, facilitation, and organization of all activities within the Security Engineer Program Office. This role acts as the key contact person for the organization of the programs, defining, enabling, and monitoring rules and operational principles, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in collaboration and work within the programs. The individual supports the coordination and creation of Security Engineer working groups, overseeing their proper function and deliverables.:

Manage, plan, execute, and monitor the project portfolio optimizing the Security Engineer program, its community, and interested employees., Develop a reporting and governance structure to tactically monitor and oversee the project portfolio., Conduct onboarding for new Security Engineers to provide personalized learning plans., Operationalize general administrative topics into specific projects to enhance program efficiency and user experience., Identify automation potentials and implement quick automations using tools like MS Power Automate., Continuously improve the program processes for administration, academy, and community., Communicate consistently and with KPIs towards Security Engineers, developing communication plans to support change management., Manage and facilitate the community structure to strengthen knowledge exchange and team building., Assess, select, and manage third parties for internal team-building events and conferences., Evaluate trends in Information Security and their business impact to maintain information security relevance., Lead projects aimed at optimizing InfoSec educational programs to enhance content quality.

Qualifications:

• Over five years of experience in solution development and operations
• including roles such as Agile Coach
• Product Owner
• or Project Manager.
• Significant experience in secure digital solution design or development/engineering in large organizations.
• Strong Secure DevOps development practices
• with experience in secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in community management and stakeholder expectations and experiences management.
• Understanding of staff education
• e-learning
• and knowledge management.
• Excellent communication skills
• both written and oral
• with multiple levels of leadership involving business and technical aspects.
• Demonstrated passion for understanding complex problems and driving high-quality
• innovative
• and robust solutions.
• General proficiency in Information Security.
• Proactive and result-oriented technical leadership mindset.
• Solid knowledge of industry security standards and technologies such as ISO27002.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sustainable decisions in time-critical situations.

• Fluency in English and German; additional languages are advantageous.
• Experience in leading initiatives or communities leveraging global teams with matrix resources.
