Define the software architecture for the next generations of machines, shaping the digital future in Semiconductor Manufacturing., Identify optimal solutions for embedded systems under Linux, considering software structure, technology stack, and development tools, while addressing hardware limitations, legacy systems, and performance requirements., Analyze system requirements, agree on technical specifications, and collaborate with the team to propose and decide on options., Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including software developers, Product Owners, and electronics teams., Guide team members in employing the best coding standards, compilation pipelines, and ensuring efficient and automated builds, testing, and deployment., This role has the potential to double as a technical Product Owner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a software architect and in professional software development.
• Ability to utilize UML

• etc.) with tools like Enterprise Architect to describe and agree on software system design.
• Proficient in C and C++ with experience in build systems such as Azure DevOps Pipelines and Git.
• Experience in developing real-time control systems based on both Linux and bare metal implementations.
• Optional experience as a Product Owner or systems engineer.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and empathetically.
• Passion for solving complex challenges both independently and in a team setting.
• Good proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
