YOU...:

    will be responsible for the entire test campaign from initial request to delivery of test data, including test assessment, preparation, commissioning, execution, and reporting, while adhering to established test processes, will review and refine the test request with the design team and develop a comprehensive test concept, will design the test and measurement setup in detail, will coordinate technicians, suppliers, and other support teams, will plan test execution, including test procedures and risk assessments, will execute tests hands-on and perform post-processing of data and results reporting, will create and review engineering documentation related to test setups and results, will provide feedback to the design team to support product improvement, will assist in resource and workload planning and coordination with interfacing teams, will promote a safe working environment in the laboratory, will continuously learn about our test articles and methodologies and share knowledge with the team

Spoken Languages:

  • English, German

Skillset:

  • Propulsion testing expertise
  • Data analysis and post-processing
  • Knowledge of CAD systems
  • Project management skills
  • Effective communication skills

Qualifications:

  • hold a university degree in Aerospace Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • possess strong knowledge and experience in propulsion testing and measurement methods and instrumentation
  • demonstrate proficiency in data analysis and post-processing techniques
  • ideally have knowledge and experience with testing processes
  • methods
  • and best practices in the aerospace industry and testing multi-kW electrical machines
  • ideally be familiar with CAD software (Siemens NX preferred)
  • have fluent communication skills in both English and German
