Our corporate research team:
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan, initiate, and execute projects focused on the modeling and simulation of anatomical tissues (biomechanical, physiological, geometrical)., Contribute to the iterative design of new medical devices, study new surgical approaches, and develop innovative surgical assistance functions based on tissue simulations., Enhance our biomechanical and physiological simulation tool ecosystem and corresponding interfaces., Coordinate experiments to demonstrate agreement between simulations and real tissue behavior., Manage a network of internal and external partners who bring technological expertise and application knowledge., Provide technical direction to students and colleagues.

Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree or PhD in engineering
- applied mathematics
- natural sciences
- or medicine
- ideally with three to five years of work experience in academia or in high-tech industry
- Broad experience in biomechanical simulations
- with a focus on the finite element method
- Experience with Ansys and/or SOFA is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming
- Experience in modeling the geometry and physiology of anatomical tissues is preferred.
- Ideally first experience in project management and coordination of external networks and partners
- Self-sufficient and methodical in work
- possessing excellent organizational skills
- Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as enjoyment in working in agile
