System Security Engineer

Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled System Security Engineer to take on an essential role in safeguarding our operational technology network. You will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the hazard management system, which includes overseeing burglar alarm systems, alarm reception technologies, and video surveillance systems. Your expertise will be critical in enhancing collaboration between IT and OT teams, ensuring a unified cybersecurity strategy that complies with industry regulations. You will be tasked with providing strategic leadership in selecting and engaging partner companies within the operational technology domain, and you will also ensure that cybersecurity standards are meticulously documented and adhered to. Your role will involve planning and executing renovation and construction projects, supported by thorough feasibility studies, while diagnosing and rectifying faults as they arise.

As a System Security Engineer, you will have various responsibilities that include the following tasks::

    Manage the operation, maintenance, and fault analysis of hazard management systems, Foster collaboration between IT and OT to align cybersecurity strategies, Lead the selection and engagement with partner companies in the OT sector, Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and maintain comprehensive documentation, Plan and implement renovation and new construction projects while conducting feasibility studies, Diagnose and resolve faults within operational technology systems

Spoken Languages:

  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure
  • Expertise in virtualization and IT security
  • Proficient in network technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and influencing skills

Qualifications:

  • Higher degree in Electrical Engineering
  • IT
  • or equivalent training and certifications
  • Proven experience in electrical systems and industrial software
  • Strong knowledge of the Winguard system
