Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Specialist with extensive experience in implementing, monitoring, and optimizing IT security solutions within large and complex environments. This role demands profound expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and data protection, including compliance with GDPR regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of making and executing strategic security decisions, particularly in heavily regulated industries. You will be responsible for establishing and upholding the highest security standards while navigating the complexities of organizational IT infrastructures.

As a Senior IT Security Specialist, your core responsibilities will include developing and implementing robust IT security strategies, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, conducting risk analyses, and proactively monitoring security systems.:

    Develop and enforce comprehensive IT security policies and strategies, Ensure adherence to data protection laws, including GDPR, and other relevant security standards, Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations to identify potential threats and develop countermeasures, Advise and assist internal teams in integrating security solutions into existing IT systems and applications, Oversee the security infrastructure's continuous monitoring and coordinate incident responses, including leading responses to security breaches

Spoken Languages:

  • English, German

Skillset:

  • Expertise in cybersecurity solutions including firewalls and encryption
  • Knowledge of threat detection and prevention systems
  • Experience with SIEM systems and network security solutions
  • Ability to lead incident response teams and manage complex security incidents

Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of IT security frameworks and methodologies
