Job Description:
- As a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, we prioritize the protection of critical IT assets for our clients. We are seeking a dedicated IT Security Analyst to join our team and contribute to the mission of safeguarding United States Air Force weapon systems through Functional Mission Analysis-Cyber assistance. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying and assessing the IT architecture and infrastructure that support warfighting missions. You will leverage your expertise in DoD Mission Assurance concepts while collaborating with a skilled team to enhance our cyber defense capabilities. Your responsibilities will include evaluating risks within the local cyberspace environment, developing strategies to mitigate those risks, and ensuring the security of mission-relevant terrain. You will conduct thorough investigations of network activities, analyze trends, and provide guidance to align services with mission objectives. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The IT Security Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of tasks aimed at enhancing the cybersecurity posture of the organization.:
- Investigate network activities to determine essential support for command and control processes.;; Develop strategies to identify and minimize risks in the cyberspace environment crucial for mission success.;; Create and implement techniques to visualize relevant data based on essential systems and network services.;; Analyze trends to define requirements and provide alignment services.;; Assist in identifying and developing defense plans for safeguarding mission-relevant terrain.;; Maintain databases for monitoring systems and facilitating information retrieval.;; Utilize classified and unclassified networks for mission support and information distribution.;; Review and recommend new or revised policies and procedures for operational efficiency.;; Coordinate with subject matter experts to resolve incidents and provide briefings on recommended actions.;; Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform cyber defense trend analysis.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System Engineering, Business, or a related field in cybersecurity or information technology.
- IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+) as per DOD 8140 and AFMAN 17-1303.
- Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility for access to classified processing systems.
