Job Description:

As an IT Architect at Reitan Convenience Sweden, you will play a crucial role in leading the IT architecture efforts for the two largest brands in the organization, Pressbyrån and 7-Eleven. You will be responsible for enhancing the existing IT architecture to ensure it meets both current and future technical needs of the business. This position provides an exciting opportunity to impact the technology-driven transformation of a company that franchises around 400 stores operated by successful entrepreneurs. We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and a desire to innovate to support our franchisees effectively.

As an IT Architect, you will oversee the overall architecture and necessary changes to optimize it based on the business's needs.:

Take ownership of the overall architecture and implement necessary changes;; Guide and direct internal development teams to adhere to the overarching architecture;; Act as an architectural advisor to other IT and business functions;; Collaborate with various departments within Reitan Retail;; Share new development initiatives, plan and estimate resources, and support projects to implement these initiatives;; Manage the technical roadmap for different business areas

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in application development
• Experience in leading and supporting development teams
• Documented experience in designing and implementing technical architecture based on business needs
• Post-secondary education in areas such as system development or computer engineering
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud platforms
• Broad understanding of agile methodologies, including DevOps
• Experience in the retail sector and an understanding of the business area
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used daily
