Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Information Security Manager to play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's data and information systems. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies that protect our information assets. Your expertise will ensure that we comply with all relevant security policies and procedures. You will work closely with various teams to foster a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our data, and you will be the point of contact for all information security-related inquiries. Additionally, your responsibilities will include enhancing our existing Information Security Management System (ISMS), preparing for certification processes like ISO 27001, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to staff to promote effective security practices.

As the Information Security Manager, you will undertake a variety of crucial tasks to ensure the security of our information systems.:

Oversee and enhance the existing ISMS to ensure it meets current standards and regulations.;; Prepare and guide the organization through the certification processes for standards such as ISO 27001.;; Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyses to identify vulnerabilities within the information systems and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.;; Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and standards to maintain information security.;; Train and educate employees on information security best practices to enhance overall security awareness.;; Collaborate with other departments, especially data protection and internal IT, to ensure adherence to security requirements.;; Act as the primary contact for management and employees on all matters related to information security.

Qualifications:

• Completed degree with an IT focus or a comparable qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in information security or cyber security within an IT company
• Solid understanding of the ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards and experience in managing, operating, and maintaining an ISMS
• Knowledge in risk management and conducting risk assessments
• Experience in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Analytical thinking and strong communication skills with a goal-oriented and independent working style
• Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken
