Job Description:

As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will take on a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of critical software systems across various industries, particularly in safety-critical applications such as those in the industrial and railroad sectors. Your responsibilities will encompass the development of comprehensive test scenarios, meticulously crafted test cases, and efficient test scripts that are essential for the execution of tests within simulated environments and laboratory settings. You will be tasked with translating customer requirements and design specifications into actionable test plans and procedures, ensuring that every aspect of the software meets high standards of performance and safety. Furthermore, you will conduct thorough system tests, accurately recording results and preparing detailed test reports, which will include functional test evaluations, integration assessments, and performance analyses focusing on robustness and endurance. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including those focused on requirements engineering and software development, will be essential to the success of your role.

Your core responsibilities will include the following tasks::

Developing and executing test scenarios, test cases, and scripts;; Ensuring that all design and customer requirements are accurately translated into test plans;; Performing system tests and documenting results;; Preparing comprehensive test reports including functional and performance evaluations;; Identifying, analyzing, and reporting failures in both production and field environments;; Collaborating effectively with requirements engineering and development teams
