Remote - QA Automation Engineer

Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity, specifically for candidates located in Texas. This role involves designing automated testing scripts that streamline the quality assurance process for various social services applications including YourTexasBenefits.com and its mobile app. As part of the HHSC IT Applications team, you will engage in software quality assurance activities, including developing and executing test plans and scenarios. You will be responsible for ensuring that applications function seamlessly by employing modern testing methodologies. Your contributions will include participating in requirements analysis, test design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Furthermore, you will create necessary technical documentation and provide technical support during testing and implementation phases. Successful candidates will leverage their programming knowledge and testing expertise to analyze software applications, identify defects, and propose innovative solutions.
